Well, I’ve been a little quiet over the last couple of weeks so I thought it was about time for an update. I enjoy cooking (but I have started rather late in life) as I like to know what it is I’m eating. Today I have cooked a veggie meat pie – if that’s not a contradiction in terms. In it I put Quorn mince, onion, carrot, garlic, mushroom, marmite, soy sauce and a little vegetable stock all baked in a hot water pastry crust. My main improvement, however, is that I’m starting to get a grip on how to attached the pastry lid to the pie – not all the way there on style yet but a big improvement on my previous efforts. Quite chuffed!
